Please note, this training is only available to BHT Sussex staff. 

Training provided by James Aldcroft   (BHT Training’s Emergency First Aid at Work trainer and paramedic)

The session will consist of two halves.

The first half will be a PowerPoint presentation covering scene safety, cutting down, airway anatomy, PT assessment, preservation of evidence, wellbeing.

The second half will be a BLS practical focusing more on managing the airway, CPR face masks.

Please be aware that due to the sensitive nature of the topic there may be triggering or challenging conversations during the training.  Please be mindful of your needs before and during the course to ensure that your wellbeing is a priority. You will not be asked or required to discuss personal experiences and we invite everyone to consider their workload/personal commitments following the course to allow time to transition back into practice appropriately.
