Christine Glover

Chris is a general nurse and a mental health nurse who has always maintained  clinical practice despite being a full time trainer for the past ten years. Her current clinical practice is as an EMDR practitioner – helping those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Chris has always worked both clinically and as a trainer throughout her long career. She is a member of MINT, has regularly delivered Introductory and Advanced Motivational Interviewing, in addition to two university accredited modules at both levels five and six.

Whilst working as a Lecturer/Practitioner she developed and delivered a Masters programme in Dual Diagnosis. Other areas of training include: The Higher Development Award, at levels one, two and three, telephone skills and triage, drug and alcohol studies, supervision, Outcomes Star (an internationally renowned outcome tool-risk management), self management, consultation,  and Making Every Contact Count.

Chris has worked with very diverse groups and those from many different professions and backgrounds.  In addition she has worked with specialist teams, including, drugs and alcohol, diabetes, sexual health, GP’s, associate physicians, physiotherapist, social prescribers and many more.
