Kate originally qualified as a social worker and has since gained 30 years’ worth of experience in the public sector and within mental health fields.
Having contributed to development of the very first Adult Protection procedures in East Sussex, Kate has since managed safeguarding processes in a range of operational management roles. Now an independent trainer, she has worked with partners including the Care Quality Commission, Southdown Housing and local authorities across the South to offer coaching, supervision and consultancy work.
A member of the College of Social Work, Kate’s professional experience is bolstered by a Master’s degree in Psychoanalytic Approaches to Organisational Consultancy. She is committed to empowering staff and service-users alike, promoting learning, sharing and achieving positive wellbeing.
